We arrived at Rexall early and went to the game day offices. From there a guide came and gave us a behind the scenes tour of the building that is normally restricted to fans. Our tour started off by going down a hallway when Taylor Hall walked right by us.

It was an honor to be selected by Hockey Canada to work the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  From the moment we arrived we were treated very professionally by the Carpool Drivers, Hotel Staff and the Hockey Canada officiating staff.

Ten members of the St. Albert Ratt’s attended the Oil King’s game on December 15th to see the Oil Kings take on the Swift Current Broncos.

I'll be the first to admit that I had never heard of the Asian Winter Games when I received the call to referee in Kazakhstan but I was really excited about the prospect of a new officiating experience on the other side of the world.
