At the last board meeting there was a change to how officials are treated when they are suspended as players or team officials. This has been officially been approved.

Highlights:

Should an On-Ice Official be suspended while participating as either a Player or Team Official for no more than one (1) game as outlined in 13.3, said official will be permitted to continue to officiate with no restrictions. Should an On-Ice Official be suspended while participating as either a Player or Team Official for more than one (1) game as outlined in 13.3, said official will be permitted to officiate assigned games during the day immediately following the suspension. At the conclusion of that day, the On-Ice Official will be required to serve his suspension as outlined in 13.2.4
