Part of the registration process of becoming a referee, along with attending a clinic, is writing an exam, buying equipment/supplies, and paying a registration fee.  This fee is totally separate from the fee paid to attend a clinic.  You need to be prepared to pay these fees, and buy required supplies when you attend your clinic.  The instructor of your clinic will collect the money from you, it can be cash or cheque (not post-dated).  Instructors will not be carrying any change.  You will need the Case/Rule book for study during class, please make sure to have $15 ready to buy the book at the start of class.
